SPECIMEN SHOULD BE COLLECTED IN THREE TUBES LABELLED AS 1, 2 AND 3. IF MULTIPLE TEST ARE REQUESTED COAGULATION TUBE MUST NOT BE FIRST TUBE TO DRAW AND MUST NOT PRECEDED BY OTHER VACCUTAINER TUBES WITH ANTI COAGULANT. HISTORY REQUIRED. NO HISTORY OF FFP TRANSFUSION IN LAST 10 DAYS.

Specimen Storage & Transportation Condition:

18OC - 24OC WITHIN 2 HOURS. CITRATE PLASMA AFTER 2 HOURS TILL 4 HOURS NOTE: * TO OBTAIN CITRATED PLASMA CENTRIFUGE SAMPLE FOR 7 MINUTES OF 2000G (APPROX 5000 RPM). SEPRATE SUPERNATANT IN POLYPROPYLENE TUBE & PLACE IN STRYOFOAM BOX IN DRY ICE. * PLASMA SAMPLE MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE DEPARTMENT WITH IN 4 OURS OF COLLETION. * PARENT TUBE MUST ACCOMPANY THE ALL QUOTE.
